InnORBIT partner ROMSPACE attended the "Space and Security for Eastern Europe - 10 years in the European Space Agency" conference and exhibition organised by the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) on 16 - 19 May 2022, at the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, Romania. The event gathered more than 350 actors in space from Romania and many other countries.

This was an exciting moment for the Romanian Space ecosystem, as the conference was the first high-profile event for the space sector in Romania after nearly 2 years of mobility restrictions. If you are interested in the outcomes of the conference you may read the press release of the Romanian Space Agency.

Ms. Cristina Stancu and Ms. Oana Neagu of ROMSPACE presented the InnORBIT project to the event participants at their exhibition booth and introduced the project objectives, activities, and the local space initiatives established in Romania such as the Romanian Space Cafe. Participants showed a great appreciation of the efforts carried out for the growth of the local space ecosystem.

Our Advisory Board member, Ms. Iulia Jivanescu, who is a prominent member of the Romanian Space Ecosystem, as the ESA coordination officer in Romania, supported our team and made introductions with other participants, helping the promotion of our project.
