6TH CASSINI HACKATHON: SPACE FOR INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT & HUMANITARIAN AID, 3 TO 5 NOVEMBER 2023 (DEADLINE TO APPLY 8 JUNE)

The 6th CASSINI Hackathon is happening from November 3-5, 2023, simultaneously in 10 European locations. Hundreds of participants will put their skills to the test and work on three common challenges focusing on international development and humanitarian aid.

The 3rd CASSINI Hackathon – “Revisit Europe” is one of the greatest milestones for the European space sector in spring 2022. This year’s CASSINI Hackathon is taking place simultaneously in 9 different locations on May 12 – 14, 2022 with Athens, Greece being one of the destinations!

Participants and teams are invited to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to revitalize tourism across Europe.

This hackathon will be part of the Mazovia Development Forum and will happen on 6 and 7 December 2022. The format is a sprint hackathon, with a duration of 1h30, and a cross-industry approach. More details TBD.

Venture Factory invites you to the European Commission's CASSINI Hackathon in Maribor, Slovenia. From 4th to 6th November 2022, together with Sava Insurance Company, the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, the European Space Agency and other CASSINI partners, we will solve 3 challenges. European space technology and the Sentinel-HUB platform from Sinergise will help participants solve them.

ActInSpace is an international innovation contest uniting over 100 cities across 50 countries. Designed for students and young workers but open to everyone. ActInSpace is an event targeting creativity and aiming to cultivate young entrepreneurial initiatives. Throughout 24-hours, teams have to imagine and design innovative services and products derived from space technologies and space-acquired data.

Challenges:

The 3rd CASSINI Hackathon takes place in Budapest and focuses on sustaining and preserving unforgettable European destinations for the future. Participants are encouraged to create ideas that support sustainable tourism, increase experiences and proclaim the overall discovery of natural Europe.
