Our speaker - Zvonimir Nevistić - began with an introduction to the topic of space data and how it can help people. Then he explained what space technology is and what it is used for. He also introduced the types of sensors used to collect data in Earth orbit. Next, he explained what the Copernicus is and what data it collects. He talked about the satellites that collect data as part of the main programme and additional missions. He showed what types of data are collected under the programme and how they can be used. The speaker gave many very interesting examples of how the data is used and how it helps to monitor changes on our planet and help people.

Finally, Zvonimir Nevistić encouraged all the participants to register and observe the Earth with the Copernicus programme for free.
