Advisory Board - Stefanos Capsaskis

Dr. Stefanos Capsaskis, born in London and a resident of Athens, is an experienced board-level executive with a successful record in technology venture capital. From 1999 until 2020, he worked in the field of venture capital, evaluating investment opportunities, monitoring and guiding early-stage tech businesses and building and supporting management teams, first as Head of the Technology Investments Group at Commercial Capital and subsequently as Principal/Partner at 7L Capital Partners. Since 2018, he serves as Senior Advisor at JNP Strategy and Management Consulting, specializing in start-up fundraising and valuation, as well as consulting on more general financial issues faced by start-ups. Since 2017, he also teaches a course on financing for early-stage ventures to graduate students at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology of Cambridge University and lectures at the Cambridge Judge Business School. He is an independent Non-executive Director of Athens Stock Exchange-listed Marfin Investment Group S.A since 2017 and has also served on the Board of Directors of SingularLogic S.A.. Stefanos Capsaskis holds M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
