Speakers:

  • Ognjan Božić is a distinguished member of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) with expertise in chemical rocket propulsion, aero-thermodynamics of spacecraft, and rocket flight mechanics. He holds a doctorate from the Technical University of Braunschweig, which he earned in 2002 for his research on CFD models of heterogeneous multiphase combustion processes in steam generators. With 20 years of experience as a researcher at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) - Institute for Aerodynamics and Flow Technology in Braunschweig, Božić has made significant contributions to the field of aerospace engineering.
  • Alma Kugić is an architecture student at the Technical University in Vienna currently completing her graduation thesis on space architecture in Pula. Under the guidance of space architect and professor Dr. Sandra Häuplik-Meusburger, Kugić has conducted extensive research on habitation design and planning for the Moon and Mars, presenting her findings at several international conferences including ICES 2022, IAC 2022, ASCEND 2021, and Brijuna Conference 2022. Kugić is an active member of the Adriatic Aerospace Association since 2021 and a member of the Technical Committee for Space Architecture since 2022.
